Live in Smokey area?

Question

Does anyone live on the west coast in the Smokey areas? I am in Northern California and am so worried on how this could affect my baby. I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant. 
I’m staying inside but still don’t feel good about this. Anyone else in the same position? Has anyone talked to a doctor or nurse?

Right here! 22 weeks pregnant in Norcal, there is a new fire about 20 minutes from me and if feels like it is never ending. I've been hiding in my apartment with the windows sealed up because the smoke was even coming through the cracks.
I've now starting freaking out about the indoor air quality as well!! I live in a studio with my 5 small birds, my fiance and our 2 dogs. Normally he and the dogs are gone all day so it isn't an issue. Now with us all cooped up with no access to fresh air is so stressful. I have a large room air purifier, but it's now packed full and of course the filters are on back order. 
Anyway sorry I let a little rant out on your post. I suggest definitely avoid being outside, and check the air quality often. The issue with smoke is that when there are fine particulates in the air they will be inhaled by you, then from your lungs go into your bloodstream. I have read that pregnant women need to use extra caution. I'll write you a list of what I'm doing...
Stay indoors. Seal windows if smoke smell is coming through.
If you have to go outside, change your clothes and rinse off/shower especially if it is "raining" ash.
Run an air purifier.
Do not use the vacuum as it will stir up dust and make indoor air quality poor.
No candles, incense, broiling, frying or anything that will cause smoke indoors.
Try to make as many meals as possible that do not require the oven or stove top.
Do not use aerosol sprays or chemicals indoors.
I think as long as you avoid smoke you should be OK. If you have someone who can do errands for you so you can stay inside definitely use that help. Stay safe 💙

In Portland, we've been in hazardous levels for days but expecting it to get much better in the next few days. Staying indoors for the most part, wearing a mask outside and not doing my usual walks. Fans with HVAC system filter running all day and night. And if I need to drive, keeping my fans off or on recycle or whatever it's called.

27 weeks pregnant.
Yah the smoke in the air sucks, but I’m not hanging out outside very much.
I’m wearing my mask when I run errands anyways, so it helps a bit.

21 weeks and in Oregon, my doctor just said not to spend too much time outside and wear an N95 is possible
