Im 37 weeks tomorrow and i never knew i had one until one day (about 26 weeks) i didnt feel many movements only little jabs here and there.... i went to get checked out to reassure myself and thats when i was told i had an anterior placenta so i wasnt able to feel as much as someone with the placenta at the back would at that stage. From about 28-30 weeks it hasnt been an issue for me... ive felt every kick turn hiccup the lot and its constant haha ... i think its cos the bigger and stronger baby gets the more powerful they become. The biggest problem for me was trying to get a decent 4d scan of her as she was cuddled into the placenta looking all snug and cosy haha.

I basically never felt kicks, I was always at the hospital on a monitor thinking something was wrong with my daughter

The anterior placenta toke most of her kicks and that’s why I couldn’t feel her often at all.
