Sleep sack?

My baby is 4 weeks, our air is set on 69 degrees, I have a cotton sleep sack I was going to put him in, he is currently wearing a gown and socks. He shouldn’t get to hot if I put the sleep sack over what he’s currently wearing should he?

I think the socks are too much. We keep my bedroom at the same temperature and sometimes my baby gets too hot while wearing less. It's more worrisome if they overheat than if they are too cold. They will get fussy and let you know.

I’d say just use a gown and sleep sack or footie pjs and a sleep sack. My room is usually around 70-72 but depending on the night my daughter will either wear a onesie and sleep sack ogle footie pjs and her sleep sack
