Should I bring it back?

I know this is probably a dumb question so I'm posting anonymously. My husband and I got new phones 6 months ago with T-Mobile. We both got samsung galaxy s5's. Recently mine has been shutting off randomly. Like yesterday it was in my purse and I heard it jingle so I pulled it out and it had restarted itself. Then it's happened many times while using it, even once while I was on the phone with my husband. He thought I hung up on him. It also freezes periodically when I'm texting and overheats sometimes. The thing is I don't like complaining or bringing things back because I'm afraid they will get mad. My husband said thats what we have the warranty for and said he's taking it back today whether I want to or not since he pays the phone bill. I just feel bad complaining because I love my phone besides those few issues. Should I bring it back?
