so recently i got in to my first relationship after my ex is been a little tough but he treats me good. but i’ve been having dreams of me and my ex almost every night what does this mean?

I had the same. 
Don’t fret about it. It means nothing. 
The way I see it is:
You ex played a major role in your life and now you’ve got somebody else lined up to play that same role.
So of course when thinking about relationship things, your mind is going to go back to something familiar. 
Just because they were important to you and you have unconscious thoughts about them, doesn’t mean you’re still in love with them.
