flu vaccination for your kids yes or no?

my kids are due this vaccination and im not sure whether to agree or not? if anyone has more information to help me make my decision I would be grateful thanks looking for pros and cons

I don't usually get my kids flu shots and they've never had the flu. My hubbie gets it since he's military, but I refuse (I hate needles).

My oldest daughter got half of the flu shot a couple years ago and got super sick with the flu and had to be hospitalized, ever since then we've said no to the flu vaccination

If you have ever had the flu, then you know how incredibly awful it is. The inconvenience of getting the shot or mist is greatly outweighed by the benefits.

I'm allergic, so yeah thanks but no thanks. That experience was worse then the flu (which I've never actually had..) I also I had a bad reaction to the Prednisone they gave me. I don't want my kid to ever.go through that!

I don't have kids (yet!!) but I only get the shot myself if I'm leaving the country in the winter time.

I used to never get it until I became a teacher and now I NEED it and I think any kids who attend schools should too. Schools are petri dishes for germs. I get why some adults do not, but when you spend most of your day in buildings packed full of people like schools it really is the smartest thing to do.

No. My child has never had any vaccinations, and won't.

My son gets his regular shots when they're due, but we don't get the flu shot. My husband gets it done through his work, but only because it helps decrease our insurance payments. The last time I had the flu shot, which was 19 years ago, I ended up with the flu. Haven't had the flu shot since and haven't had the flu since either. If I'm not going to get it for myself, I'm surely not going to get it for my son.
