No. I dont think there’s anything wrong with it, and I’ll do it when he lets me (I always rock him for a bit after nursing) but he prefers to stretch out in his crib and get comfy on his own before falling asleep. He actually fell asleep in my arms for the first time in MONTHS the other night. Such special moments. I’m glad he’s an independent sleeper but I miss those special times! I do have baby #2 coming next month though so I suppose it’s all for the best

My son hasn’t fallen asleep on me since we sleep trained at 7 months ☹️ kinda miss it sometimes honestly lol but he’s such a good sleeper and prefers getting comfy by himself in his crib 😒

My daughter decided one day that she wanted to fall asleep on her own and has ever since 😔 our presence in the room seems to disturb her and she never sleeps as well with either of us close by

Our 13 month old is not a great sleeper... he still wakes every 3 or so hours at night and has to be rocked back to sleep 99% of the time. He’s rocked to sleep for naps too. He’s still nursing so I’m trying to get my husband to go in there more at night to decrease his habit for calorie intake at night. I do enjoy the snuggles, though. Do what’s right for your family.
