Which is worse?

Question

For those who have experienced it, which is worse, miscarriage contractions or labor contractions? When I lost my baby last year the nurse told me I’d be ready for labor when I got pregnant again because my miscarriage contractions were very painful and lasted several days. Just curious if one is worse pain than the other or about the same.

They felt the same to me honestly. Contractions are not light or easy to deal with when in labor. They can get so painful you can barely breathe and you cannot move.
My miscarriage I was bent over at a 90 degree angle and the pain was primarily in my back and hurt very bad. But to me there was no difference

Mentally and emotionally miscarriage cramps are much more painful than labour as you don't have anything to look forward to at the end. But physically, labour is worse and much more painful.

Well... For one thing you have a baby to look forward to after labor contractions.. you have a "goal". Miscarriage contractions are terrible because you don't have anything to look forward to. Nothing but sadness and a constant reminder that you're already in emotional pain and your body is putting you through physical pain too.
At least.. that's how I look at it.

I never had either.... I had 3 miscarriages and I have 2 kids now and never had pains with the MC... I had c sections- planned- so I never went into labor. 
The 3 MC I had some 6/10 pain cramps but not horrible.

It honestly depends on the person.  I would say my first borns contractions were worse than my miscarriage.  When you have a miscarriage you are basically going through labor and delivery.  Every pregnancy is different.
