6 DPO, when should I start testing?

First month of TTC, currently 6 DPO and wondering when I should start testing  before AF. 
Also had sex today and had light bleeding... is that normal?

I tested negative 8 dpo and positive 9 dpo. So I would say 9

I always start at 7 DPO so I can have a negative one to compare lol. But baby 4 (back in 2017) gave me a positive (faint) at 7 DPO.
