My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 9 months now and haven’t had any luck.

I’ve used ovulation test strips and the clear blue digital advanced ovulation test kit for 3 cycles - I’ve also been taking folic acid and any preconception pills I can find.

I can’t help but think something is wrong?

I assumed I could have PCOS as I have very irregular periods and a lot of hair loss at the moment but when I visited my GP with these concerns, he said that there’s more things to be worried about at the moment and that he made the assumption by looking at me (I’m not overweight or fit the ‘typical’ PCOS profile) that I can’t have PCOS.

I feel like I’m running out of hope and options. I know it hasn’t been a year, however, I feel like with the clear blue something would have happened by now? It does say on the instructions to visit your doctor if it doesn’t work for 3 cycles.

Has anyone else had similar experiences or can share any suggestions on what I can do?
