My ex told me 4 days before leaving the island for a job elsewhere that he felt the need to tell me that he told the child he had with someone else was his, that he fathered from birth to couple months old. He said he didn't want to hurt me again but loves me and he decided to take 2 weeks while he quarentines to decide whether he wants to do long distance and push for a relationship or not. I told him that it's not a compromise and he still has to gain my trust. We had opened up to each other about things we did in the past and had gotten everything out that we can remember. He even told me he had sex with my cousin and after realizing who she was he said he stopped but still kissed her. I'm wondering how to deal with this.
