We all know how women talk about labor being the worst pain on earth. My father-in-law had kidney stones and said passing them is the worst and beats labor. I asked how he would know since he has never had a child. He said our bodies were designed to handle labor and the passageways dilate to accommodate the baby whereas kidney stones are not meant to be passed and the body does not expand for them. So I thought, who better to ask than women who have given birth and had kidney stones? They would know!
