differences & experiences with birth control? 🤨
while i know everyone’s body is different, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experiences with The patch, as well as Nexplanon (or the arm implant)
I just recently got my IUD removed, for the simple fact that it was dangerous to keep it in (almost went through my uterine wall).
I had the choice between getting a new one, which I didn’t do because I didn’t want to chance anything. Getting nexplanon, or doing patch/pill/ring.
While I went with the patch, I don’t know if I like it yet. I’m having terrible cramps still (i got an ultrasound and right before i got my IUD removed i had a cyst rupture so I could possibly have more which could be causing my cramping & bleeding). And my bleeding has been abnormal, especially having still been bleeding since. I also don’t like wearing condoms with my significant other, because we both get tested and have been together for a little bit. So there’s trust there. As well as the penetration feels better to both of us without condoms. I got used to not wearing them with my IUD in.
But, I don’t know if i’d keep the nexplanon in the whole 3 years... so Idk if it’s worth getting because I don’t know how much it usually cost (i’m also under a catholic insurance which barely covers birth control unless in special cases.)
If y’all wouldn’t mind 🥺... Please tell me your experiences with each!! for example; which one(s) you had or tried. Period length, and flow if you had one on either or. Intensity of cramps if any involved with whichever one you had. did it regulate your period if you had one during the birth control? did you ever have worries about being pregnant even with using the birth control? etc 😊. it would help me a LOT!
