Am I overreacting?

Okay so my ex and I are trying to work things out. And i feel like lately I’ve been trying more and he isn’t giving me the same energy back. Last week I asked him if i could see him and he said maybe. Saturday he dedicates his day to his buddies so I went to Downtown Disney with my daughter no biggie. On Sunday I asked him if I could see him and he hesitates and says hmmm it’s my uncles surprise party i just found out today. He ended up spending the night there (supposedly) didn’t hear from him but once Sunday night. Forward to today. I text him that I was going to start my period if we could see each other today he said yes! I said no plans and he said no. I just got off the phone and told him i was going to shower so I could go over and now he wanted to go see his son. Mind you he was at his moms yesterday. And his baby momma lives next door. So of course my tone changes and he wants to ask what’s wrong i said nothing but that i wished he had told me that he wanted to go see his son when i asked. His response was i didn’t know what time you wanted to come. (Hello why the fuck wouldn’t you ask???? Or text me hey i want to see my son what time are you planning on coming?) I don’t know what to think
