Regular contractions??

I'm so confused on what to look for in regular contractions. I'll insert a picture of what mine have been looking like. They are painful, but every once in a while I get a longer break? Did anyone experience something similar and it ended up being real labor?? I lost my mucous plug and started contracting this morning but it really ramped up around 5pm and I started timing at 6:30ish.

My first child, I never had ‘regular’ contractions, my midwives kept trying to say I wasn’t in labour but I dilated to 10cm with my random contractions haha!! I was having like 3 or 4 back to back and then would have like a 5-10 minute gap!

My first child started like this. They were around 7-10 minutes apart for about 3 hours and once I was half way to the hospital they stopped for about 20 mins and started again. I laboured for about 4 hours and was 1 cm dialted. After another 5 hours I was at 3 and my contractions still were irregular and not picking up in speed so I was induced.

Update: still pregnant still contracting and not getting any sleep 🙃 Who knew you could have painful contractions for days and days before giving birth? My muscles feel absolutely shot idk how I'm going to push this kid out.
