Umbilical cord stump- normal?

My baby's umbilical cord stump finally fell off (1 month old tomorrow!) and I am concerned because the site looks raw still and there is a bit of oozing. Does this look normal?
I will consult the pediatrician tomorrow but was just hopefully looking for some peace of mind overnight.

It looks a bit raw id definitely get in to see your PED just to be safe. Don’t do any tub baths yet since it’s still quite wet you’ll want to wait until the site is completely dried out

I believe that’s an umbilical granuloma. My son had the same thing when his cord fell off - it took about a week to completely dry up. Just keep the area clean and dry and it should dry up on its own. If it doesn’t, the pediatrician can apply silver nitrate.

Hmmm it does look a little more raw than usual. I'd definitely let the pediatrician know! My son's looked like that (minus the oozing) and I took extra care of keeping it dry and putting him in loose cotton clothes so it doesnt stick.
