Induction date

Well, I went in to my 38 week appointment today expecting a normal appointment. She checked my cervix and it was closed. Then she told me she’s scheduling me to go in next Wednesday( the 30th) at 8 pm to take medication to ripen my cervix. She said by Thursday morning I should be ready to start the pitocin. So it turns out I will have my October baby for sure but this mama is nervous. This is my first baby and I really don’t know what to expect. Im excited and I’ve enjoyed this wonderful journey with all of you lovely ladies. If anyone has any tips on how to get through induction or advice to give it would be greatly appreciated. I can’t wait to meet my little Emily
