Help! *Read first*

I am about 8 weeks pregnant and want to announce to my mom.

I was originally thinking of waiting until I was out of first trimester and my risk of miscarriage dropped, so I wasn’t considering my options of announcing. But then we announced to my boyfriend’s dad and he was surprisingly super supportive which is making me want to tell her.

So, my idea at first was to wait until Saturday because there was something cute I saw on Amazon. But I have an ultrasound next Friday that I want her to come to and if she agrees, I have to change the time ASAP because my OB has been full. (I’m guessing bc of the covid-baby boom? Lol) So I was thinking of just going to the store and grabbing things to announce that way.

I have no idea what do, what do you think ladies? Would you wait or say screw it? lol.
