Can ibuprofen delay your period?

I got my tongue pierced 7 days ago! So I've been taking at least 2 to 3  800mg ibuprofen a day for my tongue. My period is now 2 days late! I've taken two pregnancy test yesterday and today and both negative! Wth 😭 did I mess up my cycle?

Maybe. If you’re trying to conceive you should avoid all NSAIDS because they can lower progesterone levels and inhibit ovulation. They’re also bad for sperm, so guys shouldn’t take them either. I’m going to a fertility clinic and that was one of the big no no’s that I was required to cut out of my life. Now I only use Tylenol.
