Question about ovulation/gender specific

Please don’t judge

If we are trying to have a girl and I read it says try 3 days before ovulation ... if I use the clear blue stick and this morning is now blinking Smiley face but not solid smiley face and we had sex last night and the day before ( it was all showing no face at the time ) do I still go for it maybe once or twice more since it’s still blinking or should I stop ?
