When is an appropriate time frame to marry after a divorce from a bad marriage that was short lived?

Personally it seems very fast to remarry in less than a year. Like either you were seeing the new person while still married to your ex, or it kind of seems rushed. After one failed marriage I wouldn’t be rushing into the next one. So yes, it is whenever you feel is right, but take time to process the end of the prior marriage/relationship and learn from it before jumping into a new one - much less a new marriage.

I live in New Zealand and after a divorce is finalised you have to wait 3 years to marry again.

I answered whenever it feels right but if you just got out of a short lived marriage I would hope that you would want to date someone for much longer than a year before you get married again... seems like you're asking for another short lived marriage.

I met my husband online about 3 weeks after his divorce was final, we went on our 1st date about a week later. He & his ex had been together 10 years but had always had problems (they married young) She left him because she realized she was attracted to women, it broke his heart. We fell in love very fast & married a year & a day after our 1st date. His divorce from his ex was amicable & they share a son (he was 3 when we met) so she was very much still in the picture. 
He was definitely still grieving the end of his marriage for most of our 1st year together & it took awhile to figure out healthy boundaries between the two households. We’re coming up on 7 years together, very happily married, & have a good coparenting relationship w/ his ex but it was definitely hard in the beginning. We probably should have slowed down our relationship but in the long run we made it through the difficult parts together & don’t regret how it played out.

Personally I wouldn't get married or together with someone so fast and just be myself and learn and overcome what happened in the marriage before I'm ready for another relationship most marriage after a divorce ends badly since the one isn't fully ready

Get married whenever you feel ready.. it doesn't matter if it's 1 week after it's final or 10 years.. people need to not worry what others do with their lives 🤷‍♀️
