Does everyone get to do a growth scan?

Is it normally done in US and does insurance cover it? I don’t remember getting it with my first pregnancy, and my OB never told me about it. I would definitely love to see how my baby looks now 😌

I think it mostly is just when something concerning is going on, like if your blood pressure is high, or your uterus is measuring too low or too high.

Are you talking about a general growth scan or the 20 week scan. Because the 20 weeks scan is necessary, otherwise most places will just check your fundal height to determine growth rate

I haven’t been told I’m getting one. I went on Tuesday and that was the first time they measured my belly. I was told to come back in a month.
