After IUD troubles

I got my mirena taken out 6 weeks ago and can’t find consistency in my cycle. I had a period 2 weeks after removal, and then a week later I had another period. Both periods were inconsistent. Heavy one day. Light the next. And then heavy bleeding again. I am trying to get pregnant so I’m working hard to find regularity with my cycle.

Did anyone else have trouble getting their cycle back to normalcy? My dr seemed like there would be no issues and no issues getting pregnant again. Is this normal? It’ll be helpful to plan when ovulation is since I have no clue with this irregular schedule.
