Scheduled section on Tuesday

I am a little bummed I was hoping to go into labor before then but so far have made no progress. I have a section with my first child and my doc doesn’t exactly do VBAC his agreement is to scheduled a section for 39.5 weeks and if I go into labor before that date he will let me deliver naturally. I had my 39 week appointment today and I am barely one centimeter dilated and not thinned out at all. I asked him about a sweep but he said in order to do that he needs to be able to at least get one finger in my cervix and he can’t. I guess this little boy just doesn’t want to come out ☹️
