Soooo excited!

Hi Everyone! So happy to be on here and thankful to see you are having all the same thoughts, concerns and symptoms or lack there of, that I am. I am so beyond excited, but still in shock! I got my IUD (Mirena), which I’ve had over the last 10 years, taken out August 17th. We thought it might take a few months for my body to adjust and even give it a thought of getting pregnant. To the contrary, I got not one, not two, but FIVE positive pregnancy tests!!! To say I am still in shock is an understatement, much less for my baby daddy who is 44 and has two kids (18 y/o and 13 y/o). With that being said, he can’t believe he is going to be a new daddy again. I’m so nervous and scared that my baby will stay safe and stick. I’m at risk because I am 38, first child, and has diabetes. My first phone appointment is next week (Sept 29th). I want to get bloodwork done to confirm and hear the heart beat!!! It can’t come soon enough. I pray everyone has a safe and healthy pregnancy!
