Am I crazy?? 🤨

Hi! So I tested positive for HSV 1 earlier this year after I had been hooking up with this guy for a few weeks, but he claims I couldn’t have possibly gotten it from him but the guy I was with prior to him was almost a year before. Is it possible that I could’ve gotten a year earlier and showed no symptoms until this year?? The doctor I saw said it was very unlikely because of the way my outbreak occurred but I’m not sure. I’m honestly still in shock about the results because I’m still a virgin 🙃 and I contracted oral herpes on my vagina...also if anyone has advice on how to handle this and dating in the future, I’d love to hear it cause right now I don’t feel as though I will won’t date again because of how stigmatized it is...
