Ancient Astronaut Theorists

So I've been watching Ancient Aliens on Netflix (don't judge me). It got me thinking though, these alien conspiracy theorists are called "ancient astronaut theorists" and to me that makes them sound very science-y. Watching it though half of their theories are absolutely crazy, like they're reading into things that don't even exist.

Do you think calling them ancient astronaut theorists gives them more weight than just calling them alien conspiracy theorists?

I'm not asking if you believe in aliens or not, just for opinions on them having the title they have. I worry that it could help spread conspiracy theories if we give people like this fancier sounding titles (some of them are scientists so I'm not really talking about those one.)
