my boyfriends mum doesn’t like me

my boyfriend and i have been dating for quite a while and i’ve been trying hard to earn his mothers trust and let her know that i’m not going to break her sons heart. i do say some little things which make her see me as a petty person which she has told him i am and she says i’m “not a keeper” do i listen to her and break up with him so he can find someone who is. i’m a girl who wants her to like me i really want her to and i’m so scared on what to do please help
