My period haven’t regulated at all. I got an IUD at the end of February. I had one period in April and one in August! I exclusively pumped until the beginning of August. No period this month! 😢 It just makes me consonantly think I’m pregnant. Anyone else?

This is from the Mirena website. Not sure if that’s the IUD you have in place but I believe most have similar effects (light periods/spotting or none at all). I have not had any period or spotting since the initial placement. I’m also exclusively pumping.

I have yet to get mine back. Not on any birth control, just ebf with real food mixed in.

If your IUD is a Mirena or Kylee a it is a common side effect to have infrequent or no periods. The progesterone thins your uterine lining so much that there’s nothing to come out. Totally safe and reversible as soon as it’s removed.

Yeah, my period seems just forever messed up. My son is bottle-fed with formula so I got my period back in February. Was only 9 weeks postpartum. I’ve had one every month since but it’s so insane and all over the place. We are TTC for #2 so I’ve given up on any possibility of knowing when I’ll ovulate based on my cycle, so it’s kind of frustrating.

Yep. I posted about this here a few days ago 😂 I'm on day like 56 or 57 of my cycle right now. I took a pregnancy test a couple days ago just to be sure (not pregnant thank god). It's so annoying. My husband had a vasectomy when our son was 3 weeks old, but by the time he was set to get his sperm count tested 100 days after the procedure, covid made the urologist stop taking samples, so we still haven't fully confirmed his vasectomy worked. That combined with my super irregular cycles and I'm like ... who the f knows?! 😂 I try to do a pregnancy test every few weeks if I don't get my period because I would definitely not stay pregnant so I'd want to call my midwife for pills ASAP to stop being pregnant- I am NOT having a third kid! As much as my 3 year old would like me to lol

I just got mine back about a month ago. I EBF. I was not happy- I didn’t get it back until my first baby weaned. Anyway- has it for 5 days then not even 2 wks later got it again for 2 days. 😑
