I lost my daughter at 26 weeks and 5 days, born still. And I just had my beautiful rainbow this past July. ♥️ 🌈  It’s personal preference and I don’t believe a rainbow is replacing in my opinion. It’s just what comes after the storm that you’ve been through. ♥️

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion when it comes to this but for me I just see the positive side to this term. I've had 6 miscarriages and no successful pregnancies so our baby would absolutely be a rainbow after a really hard and long journey to starting our family. I personally would not care what others think of me using the term as I think of it as a great way to honor the baby/babies that passed away. I also would not mind if someone disnt like the term and didn't want to use it for their baby

I actually agree with this completely. Referring to my current pregnancy as a rainbow just reminds me of the loss I went through. 
Or when someone has lost a baby, and is pregnant again and someone makes a reference that there lost baby has returned to them?! No, this is a new child, that creeps me out that people say that 😐

I personally lost my first born (born at 22 weeks & lived for 6 months until he passed away) and I don’t like referring to baby born after him as a rainbow because I feel as if it takes away from my first born & is calling him a “storm” when that’s far from what his life was

She forgot in the definition “or death during infancy”. Anyhow, she’s focusing on only the negative connotation she references it to. I don’t think it’s a negative thing but I don’t think calling a baby a rainbow (something that is beautiful) is a bad thing.
