What size clothes are ya’ll buying

So I’m not due until Dec 27th but I’ll prob have a csection a week earlier. My 1st daughter was born 10lbs so basically never used newborn clothing. My baby boy has been tracking a little smaller than her (77% at 26 weeks)... so I’m torn as to what size to buy? Should I get 2 of everything 😂 (one NB, one 3 months?) Let me know what you guys are doing?

I’m due the same day but will be having a planned c section around 39 weeks. I’m buying a few newborn, but mostly 0-3 months. With my son he was born at exactly 37 weeks and we had to go and buy all newborn clothes because we were anticipating him to be almost 9 lbs (he probably would have been if he didn’t arrive 2 weeks early)

For my daughter, I bought some NB clothes but I'm thinking of using my sons nb clothes. He barely wore his clothes cause theses kids grow fast.

Oh man my first was giant and this one is off the charts! We have been getting 0-3. My Mom keeps warning me that if he is big like my brother was, he will be in 6 month clothing at 2-3 weeks. Yikes!!

I bought 3 NB sleepers, 3 long sleeve onesies, 3 pants and I have a handful of sleepers that I have from my other kids. We’re very minimal and really wanted to have what we needed this time around. Our babies have all been around 6lbs, only one was 7.

This was the same situation with my son. He didn’t wear newborn very long. So what I did was find like a whole newborn bag of clothes and bought it off one of my friends that way if this baby happens to be born and can wear newborn then I have some clothes but if not or she doesn’t wear them for a long time I didn’t spend too much on them. I spent like $75 and got 30 sleepers, 9 gowns, and 6 long sleeve onesies. So she is set if she does wear newborn for a while and even if mot I didn’t go spend a bunch of money on newborn clothes like I did the first time!

My son was born 7lbs 10oz and was only in NB for like 2 weeks. We’re not buying any for baby girl. We have a few sleepers and onesies from when he was born that we’ve held on to if she needs them but since she’ll be swaddled most of the time anyway for the first few weeks I’m not stressing about her looking cute in an outfit. We’re focusing on 0-3 and up.

We bought a few bags of used stuff and it had lots of 3-6/6-9 in it so we needed NB &0-3. My shower is in a week so we will see what we get and what we need but we did grab a few more NB onesies and an outfit and then some more 0-3. After the shower we will reevaluate what we need and go from there. As far as to the hospital we plan on bringing a NB & 0-3 option for him to wear home. Just in case. He was measuring a week ahead at 20 weeks and dr is suspecting I have GD (tracking sugars currently and they’re moderately high but not crazy like it says 130 and I’m 135 or 90 fasting and it’s 95) I’m already on meds to control insulin resistance so I think those are a reason why they’re not super high which means it’s doing it’s job lol but I do worry we won’t need these NB things because of GD but I’m going to be hopeful lol.
