Will my supply decrease?

For my BF mamas...does anyone know if your supply decreases if baby is sleeping longer stretches at night? I’m worried my supply will go down :(

If your baby is sleeping through regularly then surely it doesn’t matter if your supply decreases during the night because your baby doesn’t need it anyway?

It might if you don't feed or pump. For some women their supply only goes down during the night, but if you're still trying to get established I would continue pumping at night

Mine did. My daughter slept for longer stretches at 3 months postpartum and two nights I didn’t wake up to pump. I was never able to catch back up and had to supplement with formula from then until weaning at 1.

It should just change for when baby is eating. I will say if you want a stash that is the perfect time to get it. You’ll get soo much at the night time feed.
