I cant take Tylenol so what is my other option ?

Tylenol has always made me feel sick for whatever reason so what do I do since that's the only painkiller I'm allowed to take during pregnancy ??? I have the worst headaches and just suffer through them ..

My dr recommends 500mg of magnesium a day to keep headaches away

I've always heard only Tylenol and not ibuprofen because that can harm the baby where as i believe Tylenol has been tested and deemed safe.

I would talk to your dr. Could be migraines caused by something else. Try cutting caffeine and lowering sugar intake, drink  (i know surprise!) More water. Ask your dr to check into whether or not you're anemic, as that can cause head aches and migraines. If you are anemic, add more iron (and as a precaution, fiber) to your diet and ask what supplement brand for iron your dr reccomends. If they look into it and that's not the case,  I would be upfront with them about an alternative. Just becuase you're pregnant doesn't mean you and your health suddenly don't matter. My dr prescribed oxytocin after a car accident that left me bawling in bed with a neck brace on at 6 months. Mothers matter and sometimes drs agree that the benefits far outweigh the risks. Esp if you're not in your last few months of pregnancy.

You can try magnesium lotion and I love doTERRA peppermint oil on my temples when I get a migraine. I refuse all OTC meds at all times.

Yeah I tried to see if doctor even had anything cause Tylenol does nothing for me. They said I was screwed and to only use benedryl in an allergy emergency

Try some Benadryl, sounds weird but it may actually work, i get severe migraines and have to take a tylenol benadryl combo otherwise im super miserable

If I were you I would talk to your Dr. Before I got pregnant this time I suffered from migraines so bad I was put on medication. I had to keep switching birth control pills to try to find something. Finally I told my husband I was done taking all these meds and stopped everything. That's why I'm pregnant now lol. But I also have a 2 girls under 3 years so something had to be done.
