Postpartum blood clot

So I gave birth vaginally 4 days ago. I’ve been healing great and honestly feeling almost normal. My bleeding has been very manageable and has been slowing down nicely since giving birth. Tonight out of nowhere I passed a huge blood clot about the size of my palm. I’m planning on calling my drs office in the morning but feeling anxious about it. Has this happened to anyone else?? I don’t have any other symptoms other than some mild discomfort down there now.
