Plant based diets

I have done much to read into this and the cutting out of dairy and meat products and all the health benefits that come with it. Is anyone on here on a vegan or even a vegetarian diet. What has been your experience with it and what health benefits have you got from it? Would you recommend someone switching there diet over while pregnant or afterwards? Lastly was is difficult to switch over? I know many questions but I appreciate and advice or information people have on the subject.
