I cook for myself ❤️

He doesn't like my cooking (though I'm sure that if he eats this he'll fall in love with it)

So he always cooks unless he's out.

So this is the second dish I create after giving birth 😅

(it's spiced baked chicken & smoked bacon, steamed sweet bell pepper & broccoli with boursin herbs and garlic light)

Recipe :

-1 plastic bag

-herbs for your chicken filet

= for me chicken mix + pilli pilli + kurkuma + a bit of salt & pepper

-1 chicken filet

-200g smoked bacon pieces

-1 broccoli

-2 sweet peppers (/bell peppers)

-1 pot boursin fine herbs & garlic light

-1 cube of diablobutter from Meggle (it was the first time I saw it in the shop & wanted to try it so I'm not sure where you could find it or something similar)

So first I sliced the chicken filet and put them in a bag with the herbs & some groundnut oil and massaged it until all pieces of chicken were covered with the herbs.

I then cut the green from the broccoli (I don't like the hard part)

And put it into the steamer, then cubed the peppers and put them in the steamer with the broccoli.

I put the steamer on for 15 minutes and cooked the spaghetti for 10 minutes.

I heat up the frying pan on max heat and it stays this way until the end of the recipe.

I then baked the bacon in 1/3 of the cube diablo butter until most of the moisture from the bacon was gone.

I then put it to one side, added another 1/3 of the diablo butter and added the chicken. When the chicken was about halfway done I stirred it through the bacon.

I then poored the water out of the spaghetti and added the spaghetti into the pan with chicken & bacon. I added the last 1/3 of diablo butter and the boursin, gave it a quick stir then added the vegetables and stirred it around until everything was well mixed.
