Is there any hope?

Is there any hope of having an unmedicated (as in no epidural or spinal) VBAC? My girls will be a couple months shy of 2 years old when little man gets here, im due in December but my gut is saying sometime mid November. My girls were born January 2019. I know if something becomes an emergency I'll need to go under general. I had a bad reaction mentally with being unable to move with the spinal. I am a rape/domestic violence survivor and I want this delivery to be less traumatic for me but im not sure that will truly be an option :(

Ofcourse!!! I had a VBAC no meds. Defiantly have the best support by you to keep pushing thru. Try to relax (sounds impossible to do but with a positive mind you can do anything) .. you can do this!

There certainly is. Plenty of women have done so.
But if there is an emergency situation most hospitals will put you straight under rather than risk bub. Something to keep in mind.
I had an epi and a successful vbac. Your birth experience is really what you make of it.

If you do end up having to have a csection you can possibly request being put under instead so while you may not be able to feel anything you won’t necessarily be conscious and aware of it either. I would just talk with your doctor about whatever concerns you maybe having and explain that to them and let them know. As far as being able to have a vbac, that’s not something any of us can really tell you. That is something you’re going to have to talk with your doctor about along with do they even do vbacs at the hospital you would be delivering at and is your doctor vbac friendly, not just vbac tolerant. Being able to have a vbac depends on a lot of things, not just the time since you have your last csection. What was the reasoning for the caection, what way were you cut, etc. Personally that’s something I brought up with my doctor my very first visit. Good thing I did too bc while he may have been supportive of me wanting to have a vbac and said himself I was a good candidate the hospital I would have been delivering at doesn’t do vbacs and I ended up having to switch doctors.
