Clomid and Ovulation

Hi ladies, this is my second Clomid cycle and my ovulation strips showed the peak on 27th. Usually after the peak my breast become sore even last cycle (1st cycle on clomid) i got severe sore breasts but this cycle nothing and today is 30th. Im just wondering whether i didnt ovulate. Doctor suggested doing progesterone test on CD21. He asked to do the test only on the second cycle. Has anyone else experienced this and later confirmed ovulation after the blood test. Thanks a lot ☺️
