Teething: Orajel VS Tylenol

My three month old is teething! He has been drooling nom stop, sucking on his hands, biting his hands, my fingers, my nipple, his pacifier and biting all of his toys. He even has the little pearls that come before a tooth pops through (his doctor noticed at his 2 month check up).

I’ve read before that orajel isn’t very good for babies but I honestly can’t remember why. My sister gave my niece orajel all the time when she was teething and I never noticed anything bad. Can someone tell me why baby orajel is t good?

I used a little but of Tylenol yesterday because little man was in so much pain and it seemed to work really well for him! I hate the idea of medicating him But I don’t want him to suffer. So for now I’m doing frozen breastmilk nubbies, frozen pacifiers and letting him chew all teethers.

Are they any other homeopathic remedies i can give him for teething? Is baby orajel safe? Should i just stick to my plan and use Tylenol?
