First period after birth (5 weeks PP)

I got my period back... and ugh... it’s all over the place. I got it Monday, and I’ve been passing clots (not huge, mostly stringy). Today the discharge looks like bright red blood 🩸

I called the Emergency line from my clinic, midwife called back and said it was normal.

This is my second son, and I don’t really remember having red blood coming out. It was over 3 years ago, tho, with a preemie baby, so I had bigger things to worry about, I guess.

I’m just feeling discouraged... I’m EBF my son, sleep deprived, and now this.
