When can I wash my ladybits with soap?

Didn't ask the doctor, but when were you told it was okay to wash your outer labia (I guess that's what I mean, or that general area) with soap after a vaginal birth? I didn't tear if that has anything to do with it

Ignore these nit picking ass comments. We know you aren’t talking about sticking a bar of soap up your vagina. I personally use unscented summers eve down there after birth and only use my hand. No wash cloth. Be very gentle.

I was told I could wash immediately with soap on the exterior. Especially to help get dried blood and junk off. Just be gentle and never wash in your vulva and vagina with soap, just the outside.

The vagina is not the same thing as the vulva. Yes, don’t put soap in your vagina. But the outside/vulva IS NOT self cleaning. You can use a gentle unscented soap on the vulva to get all the blood and discharged cleaned off of you.

I started occasionally washing when I stopped being so sore. So after 2 weeks or so I started again. If anything you can always splash water to clean down their if you're needing to feel clean without using a peri bottle over the toilet.
