Lunch meat/cold cuts?

Whats everyone's thoughts on eating cold cuts? I'm such a sandwich girl and I hear that cold cuts are a no-no.

I eat them and I did with my first pregnancy as well. My OB said she had no issue as long as I was getting a sandwich from a place where the meat was not left out.

It's because of the listeria. I eat lunchmeat anyways. I'm bad. But I do try to hear it up in the microwave first to make a melt in an "in trying to compromise" effort... But I love my deli meats.

Cold cuts are ok but it's recommended that they be heated.

I looked it up on-line and I really don't think it's a big deal deal. Up until yesterday I had never heard of it

Toast or make the sandwich a panini so that meat is heated.
