Has anyone's baby pooped in the womb??

I have a fear of this happening im due tomorrow Iv heard it's really bad for the baby I'm not sure how common it is!

My daughter did. It was scary when I saw it. But she never aspirated it. She only had a Tiny amount on her head. That being said, she was delivered via emergency cesarean.

Happened to me. My dd was born at 41 weeks and she was posterior. So it took 2.5 hours to push her out. That most likely caused her to poop. She spent 4 days in the nicu. She is 100% healthy but it was a terrifying experience. I was very upset for a long time about not having the birth experience that I had envisioned since she was taken away right after she  born.

I did when my mom was preg, aspirated and was really sick from it-spent I believe a week in nicu! 3 yrs ago, when my sister had my First niece she had meconium in her water but didn't aspirate.

We found out our daughter had when my doctor broke my water. It was really horrifying. They immediately called the pediatrician and the NICU Doctor to come in to talk to us while they set up. I was also GBS+. They said most likely she would aspirate the meconium during labor and may end up with an infection and a few weeks in the NICU. Labor was traumatic. Meconium + chord around her neck tightly + heart rate dropping+ shoulder dystocia... So the dr pretty much ripped her out when it got really serious. They cut the cord and took her over to the waiting doctors. She didn't cry at all not a peep. Not even when they were suctioning the crap out of her. 
I was so horrified so I tried sitting up to get a peek at her and saw her laying on the table eyes wide open just staring up at the nurses and doctors totally content. Then the pediatrician came over and told us she didn't appear to aspirate but that they would keep us min of three days and to 4x daily full dr exams to make sure she wasn't developing any infection. I'm really hoping we can avoid the whole mess this time. Stress can cause babies to poop in the womb as well as castor oil. At least that's what my OB said to try to avoid. Some babies just do it though.
