C creation experiences?

Hi first time mom with a breech baby so most likely will have a c section in 3 weeks! Can anyone please share their experiences  with me so I can mentally prepare? Thank you!

Get up and walk as soon as you can. When going home follow restrictions. Go up the stairs backwards.... seriously so much more comfortable (best advice I git) and wear the band after csection the pressure feels good

Gtt up and moving as soon as you can. Yes, it hurts, and takes time to love, but moving is the thing that gets you healing faster.
And you need help, someone to stay with you in hospital to change diapers and do stuff while you can't. My husband carried baby to me and back to bed, because I felt too weak, yes I was able to love and hold him, but I was afraid I drop him, if I am weak...

Bring your own pillow. Makes the hospital stay more comfortable, and you will want to hold it to your incision on the car ride home.

I just had my second c-section 2 months ago and my second one was a scheduled one it went super smooth. I was up and walking the next day with assistance of course but by the 3rd day I was feeling good and walking and doing everything on my own also I was off of my pain meds in a week. Definitely move around to help you heal faster. Also not sure if your hospital might provide it but definitely ask for a belly binder that helped me a lot during my recovery. Also massage your belly where your c-section is after your OB says your incision has closed this will help blood flow and it’s beneficial for the healing process. Having a c-section isn’t as scary as you may think it is. Good luck!
