Another one of those horrible MIL stories

So I dont get alone with my mother in law, pretty much never have. My husband and I got together in 2011 so I know how she is even with her own daughter. She hates that her kids grew up and she tried to keep control of my husband while we were dating. Weve pretty much had to cease communications almost complete. She comes to visit every now and again, this weekend is one of those times. Because of covid and some of her own personal health issues at the end of last year she hasn't seen us in a year. My daughter is turning two in a few weeks and shes been glued to my daughters hip. Well, a handful of times shes looked at my daughter and said something like "mommy (talking about herself) will get you... I mean, sOrRY 'mAMaW'" then she looks at me. She told me that my sister in law could vouch that she does it to our nephews as well.

About an hour ago my husband takes her to look at the nearby liquor store because we moved across the country in July and he wanted to take her. Im already mad that its been an hour looking at liquor, and my sister in law tells me that she has never done that with the nephews. Below is the conversation with my husband. In the last big message from myself I mention the countless other stories I've seen on this app. I just wonder do you think that after 10 years (thats how old the oldest nephew is), shes learned to say mamaw and shes just doing this to confuse my daughter? I only wonder because while I was pregnant (almost 2 and a half years ago) she told me that someday my daughter will love her more than me, and I've not gotten over it.
