My 4 year old cries about having to do stuff on her own ( stuff she knows how to do ) She threw a fit today because she came inside to go potty and her dad didnt leave the door open for her. She opens doors all the time with no problem, its the exact same as our front door which she opens without a problem. or putting her shoes on, putting her pjs on, brushing her teeth, putting toys away, ect. all the little things shes been taught and has known how to do, she will cry about if someone ( her dad, mostly ) doesn’t do it for her. I don’t because i know she knows how and she never asks me for help ( even if she does i still have her do it but i walk her threw it and tell her good job when she does it ) but whenever her dad is around, all hell breaks loose if he doesn’t do everything for her. Is she being babied too much or is this normal? Its just crazy how the switch completely flips when her dad shows up..
