Implantation ? Help!

Hey mamas and mamas to be! I have a question! So this is my first month ttc, and I’ve been watching my body, yesterday I was cramping and started bleeding, at 8dpo. I never have early periods and it’s a week and some change early. Today I’m still bleeding but not as much, it’s almost all the way gone. It was lighter than my normal period but it wasn’t spotting, and it started out red, then went to brown. I’m now 9dpo. Have any of you experienced that and it was implantation, or am I over thinking and it’s just my period a week early?
