Over it all.

Took my daughter in for her 18 month needles, not worried about a thing. Came out worrying about every little thing she does now.

The GP has referred her to a Paediatrician because she only points randomly sometimes (doesn’t point to what she wants); doesn’t look at what you’re pointing to - just smirks and runs off; and only listens to very few commands (e.g. Get your shoes; throw the ball; bring me the plate; shut the door, etc.).

I thought her being able to say over 50 words + 2-3 word sentences would be a good thing, but apparently not seeing as she doesn’t point or look at what you’re pointing at.

She’s a category 2 out of 3 categories. So she’s not at urgent as a 1, but not as not urgent as a 3. So we’re looking at waiting around 60 days for the first consult approx. No earlier.

I’ve been trying to get her to point, or look at what I’m pointing at, but she’s not having it. She throws a tantrum when I try and get her to point, or just looks at what she wants and says please.

I can’t deal with this anymore.
