Fetal kicks are painful 😖

I had an umbilical hernia when I was younger that I got corrected when I was about 8 years old. I’m 31 now, and everytime baby stretches, punches or kicks my belly button area it is so painful to the point I lose my breath.... Does this happen to everyone? Or could it be scar tissue tenderness from stretching and being beat on. I’m only 31 weeks now and can’t imagine how much more painful this is going to get.
