Ultra sound !?

Im going in for my 6 week apt on the 27th . And I need to know will they automatically order a ultra sound for me already ? Or will I have to wait to get one ?

I've read more on here of those getting their 1st ultrasound around 12 weeks. It's not recommended to get unnecessary ultrasounds. Unless you are high risk, or have miscarried before, it's normal to have your 1st ultrasound between 10 and 12 weeks.

What will probably happen is that they will schedule an appointment for 8 weeks for you to have an ultrasound.

I was 6 weeks on the day, I was dealing with aftermath of a car accident though so they wanted to make sure everything looked okay.. They did an hcg test twice though first.. It all depends on your doc/circumstance/insurance

I had one on my 1st prenatal appt which was at 7 weeks 1 day

I've had 2 prenatal appts all just giving medical history, blood sample and urine specimen. I am 6 weeks 1 days and have my ultrasound scheduled on Dec 8th when I will be 8w5ds, I'm so anxious n excited just to know all is going well. Soon enough hun.

The 1st appt is usually paperwork urine test and lots of blood so go hydrated. I went the 16th have a follow up with my normal blood results the 30 and will schedule an ultrasound then. I honestly wanted it the 16th when I went in but I know it was to early as I was barely 5w. I'd rather go when they can see the little bean.
